Emmanuella W. Maina is a Legal Assistant at Osiemo Wanyonyi & Company
Advocates. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours from the University of
Nairobi, Faculty of Law. She is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Law at
the Kenya School of Law and a certificate in Terrorism and Counterterrorism at
Georgetown University.
Passionate about Governance, Civic duties and Human Rights, Emmanuella has
volunteered for organizations such as the Global Youth Mental Health Awareness
(GYMHA) Australia, Incorporated in the capacity of Project Officer and Assistant
Social Media Coordinator. She is currently a member of the Young African Leadership
Initiative (YALI) Network, founded by Former US President Barrack Obama, which
seeks to hone the next generation of African Leaders.
Previously, Emmanuella has undertaken Research for a think-tank project – CovidLaw
Lab by the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown
University Law Center, earning her a recommendation to the Committee.
